What is an IWP, and what does it mean to me?

IWP stands for Individual Work Plan. It is essentially a form used to assign your ticket to an Employment Network or Vocational Rehabilitation facility. The form describes your plan to return to work and achieve certain goals that you have set for yourself. This form must be completed and assigned to an approved provider in order for you to be able to receive the benefits associated with the Ticket to Work program. If you do not wish to participate in the program, then you do not have to complete this form, but keep in mind you will be missing out on all the benefits and protections that the program has to offer.
